1. Far East Hospitality Best Rate Guarantee (BRG)

Should you find a lower publicly available rate on another website within 24 hours of booking with StayFarEast.com, we will credit your bill the difference, plus 15% discount. (BRG) is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Notifying Far East Hospitality of a Claim

You are required to fill up the online form within 24 hours after you made a booking on Far East Hospitality to make a claim under (BRG). The lower rate must be available for booking at the time you file a claim with us, supported with screenshots of the 2 rates under comparison (reflecting the website address, date and time the rate was available for booking), as determined by our customer service representatives applying the criteria set out below.

3. Equivalent Offer Comparison

(BRG) is available only for booking with similar terms including:

• Room/ apartment type
• Payment terms
• Cancellation policies
• Refund policies
• Package inclusions
• The exact same stay period
• Time of booking
• Service charges
• Applicable government taxes

4. Comparison Rates Must Be Available to the General Public Online

(BRG) applies only to prices both advertised and available to the general public. The following rates are not applicable for (BRG):

• Dynamic and/or bundled package purchased online through third party websites
• Rates offered on membership program websites
• Corporate discounts or rates
• Group, charter, rewards program, incentives, meeting, convention, consolidator or interline prices
• Prices obtained via auction or similar process
• Prices available only by using a coupon
• Other promotions not offered to the general public
• The lower rate may not come from a website where you call to get the rate, or from an e-mail that you received.

The rate must be quoted and able to be booked, and paid for in local currency (without the use of a currency exchange calculator) at the time you submit the (BRG) form.

5. Verification of Claims

Far East Hospitality will confirm that the lower quote is genuine, available and bookable by the general public. All requests and claims, including receipts, are subject to verification by Far East Hospitality’s customer service representatives. Far East Hospitality will not accept screenshots or other purported evidence of a lower price that cannot be independently confirmed by a Far East Hospitality customer service representative, nor will Far East Hospitality verify any request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made fraudulently or in bad faith. Customers are required to furnish all mandatory information relating to the lower price obtained online.

6. Successful Claims

All claims will be responded to within the next 3 working days. Successful claims will receive the differential in rate plus a 15% discount off the lower rate. The amount will be refunded to the credit card used for the initial transaction. Upon successful verification, customer can expect refund amount within 7-10 working days, subject to individual bank’s processing procedures.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

Far East Hospitality may modify or discontinue (BRG) or restrict its availability to any person, at any time, without prior notice or liability to you, except where excluding or limiting liability is prohibited by law. The terms that are in effect at the time of your booking will determine your eligibility under (BRG). The failure by Far East Hospitality to enforce any provision of these (BRG) terms and conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

8. Miscellaneous

(BRG)’s terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these (BRG)’s terms and conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Singapore. If any part of the these (BRG)’s terms and conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and will continue in effect. (BRG)’s terms and conditions constitutes the entire agreement between you and Far East Hospitality with respect to this Best Rate Guarantee and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and Far East Hospitality.
